The scene from Love Is Blind season 3 that everyone is talking about

Love is blind season 3

Yesterday I was so happy because Love Is Blind was back on Netflix. Double celebration because I had completely forgotten that it was coming back so soon. It was really a gift, so I wasn't even mad that only the first four episodes were available. They did this with the first two seasons too; we now have to wait another week for the rest and then it will be quite a while until the reunion. But hey, that also means we can look forward a bit. To be honest, I found the second season a bit disappointing, especially because so many people were just really not that likable (I'm talking about a Shaina, Shayne, Shake…). If you also gave up, give it another chance because this third season is a joy to watch again.

Warning: spoilers for episodes one to three incoming

The episodes all last about an hour again and I wouldn't be a Netflix addict if I hadn't watched all four episodes yesterday. Until episode four, I honestly had a lot of confidence that multiple couples would actually stay together. Yep, there will probably be love triangles in the next series of episodes, but there was already a bit of that between Nancy, Bartise, and Andrew in the pods. Nancy was in the luxurious position of being proposed to by two men. Personally, I thought she would go for Andrew, but no, it was Bartise after all.

And that's of course a bit hard to swallow for Andrew, who was also asked about that by the producers in his one-on-one with the camera. And that scene is hilarious. I can only conclude that he must have been the biggest jerk behind the scenes, otherwise they wouldn't have edited him in such a way. It's hilarious. The relevant scene is in episode 3, and initially, Andrew is staring blankly ahead. The producer asks what's going through his mind. ‘Are we rolling already?’ he asks. ‘Yep,’ is the answer.

And then. AND THEN. He pulls liquid from his eyes, asks if it's okay (it is) and puts the liquid in his eyes. Twice. Then he starts to say that he has to cry for Nancy, while we all just saw that those are not tears but liquid that he himself sprayed in his eyes. Well. What did this man think? That the creators were definitely looking for drama and wanted to show many people crying? Anyway, the creators were not having it and Andrew completely fell through the cracks.

Of course, Twitter had a lot to say about that too. Oh people, go watch this season, it's delightful again.
