McDonald's forgets sauce: man wants to blow up branch

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: the story of the man who wanted to blow up a McDonald's because they forgot the dipping sauce.

Yeah man, that Maccie can really stir something in people, it's just unbearable. I can somewhat imagine it, you know. If I really want a BigMac on a hungover Sunday and have been fantasizing about it all day, I really can't handle it if I then get one that has clearly been sitting there just a bit too long. Not that I would complain, except in my head to myself.

But some people really can't handle such a disappointment. In the American state of Iowa, for example, where a 42-year-old man found out at home that they had forgotten the sauce for his chicken nuggets. SHAME! And what do you do at Maccie?

You blow the whole place up.
Well, that was indeed his plan. When the dissatisfied customer finally got home, discovered the tragedy of the missing dipping sauce, and picked up the phone to tell those McDonald's employees the truth, he announced that he was going to blow up their branch. That didn't really sit well with the employee, who called the police.

In the end, the man managed to convince the police that he really didn't mean it, but that did involve a night in jail and then he had to appear before the judge to account for this statement.

So it ended with a whimper. Whether the man eventually got his sauce is not known, but I hope for him that he learns to handle setbacks a bit better in the future. And don't take it out on that poor Maccie (and their employees) next time. They pull us through enough tough times.
