Fancy: Bling Empire New York

I always find the city of New York to have something magical. Series and movies set there always have a bit of an advantage for me, because in such a setting, it’s almost impossible not to enjoy watching. And that’s exactly the reason why I didn’t really get into the original version of Bling Empire, but I’m definitely going to give this spin-off a chance.

You probably already know Bling Empire, as it has been on Netflix for a while. In this series, you follow several wealthy Asian and Asian-American people in their lifestyle of the rich and (now also — thanks to Bling Empire) famous, along with all the accompanying drama, parties, and glamour that come with their life in LA.

A big hit on Netflix, so it’s not surprising that a spin-off is coming. This time we’re going from the west coast to the east coast and we’re going to see more of the glamour in NYC. Oooh, this is going to be delicious.

By the way, there is a familiar face in it: we also saw Dorothy Wang in the second season in LA, but we’re going to see her in New York now too.

One small downside: no release date has been announced yet. For now, we have to make do with this teaser. But honestly, how cool does such a glamorous life in NYC look?
