See: trailer for the latest Netflix Christmas movie is out

The Christmas vibes are already fully in, you know. On the internet that is, because Netflix is doing great. The repertoire of Christmas movies there is already more than sufficient, but we can count on them adding a good dozen every year. Like this year Christmas With You, which makes my millennial heart beat faster. Why? Because one of the two lead roles is played by Freddie Prinze Jr., the husband of Sarah Michelle Gellar, one of the hotties from the ’90s and early ’00s.

Okay, he’s unfortunately not that hot anymore, but he’s still fun. His co-star is Aimee Garcia, whom we might know from Lucifer, where she plays Ella Lopez. In Christmas With You, she plays a successful, world-famous pop star who is struggling with burnout and therefore wants to escape her world for a while. For that reason, she decides to fulfill the wish of a young fan in New York (this logic escapes me for a moment: wanting to escape and then going to one of the busiest cities in the world?). She travels to NYC and gets stuck there due to a snowstorm.

Check the trailer below, and you’ll probably be sold too, and maybe even a little bit in love with Freddie Prinze Jr. I think this is really a wonderfully predictable movie that still makes me cry because I’m a bit of a softie in that regard. A movie close to my heart, then.
