3 x how to easily pimp your Easter egg yourself

Painting Easter eggs as a DIY project

Of course, you can score a colored egg for your Easter table almost anywhere about five days before Easter, but it's much more fun to make it a DIY project yourself. And don't be alarmed and click away right away, it's really an easy peasy task. The proof? I managed to fit no less than three cool options (read: marble, sprinkles, or even as a candle) into one video of less than a minute. Curious about how to, what you need, and especially about the end result? Just scroll.

Marble eggs

What do you need?

– Nail polish (color of your choice)
– Bowl with lukewarm water
– Boiled (white) eggs

How to?

– Boil the eggs
– Fill a bowl with lukewarm water and add a few drops of nail polish.
– Et voilà: dip and let dry!

Sprinkled eggs

What do you need?

– Ziplock bags
– Rice
– Liquid food coloring (color of your choice)
– Boiled (white) eggs

How to?

– Put the rice in the ziplock bag, add a few drops of coloring, and shake it all up.
– Open the bag, add the boiled egg, shake again, and ta-da: your egg is covered in sprinkles.
– Want to go for a multicolor egg? Then fill another (and another, and another, and another) bag with a different color of your choice and repeat the above steps.

Candle crush

What do you need?

– Tea lights
– Egg carton

How to?

– Break the eggshell in half and bake an egg.
– Take the tea light apart, place the wicks in the eggshell, and melt the candle wax.
– Pour the melted candle wax into the halved eggshells, put the wick in, let the wax harden, and yes, in less than five minutes you have your homemade egg candle. How fun?
