On those warm long evenings on the balcony, in the garden, or just in your living room with all the windows open, a dining table full of summer dishes belongs (if you ask me). When I'm on vacation in Southern European countries, I always feel so happy with all those cheerful colored plates and cups. I never really understand why we don't unpack a bit more when it comes to our tableware here. Aren't we all just fed up with those earth-toned plates by now?
I certainly am. That's why I've been looking for the cutest tableware for the summer. Mission accomplished: I found it at Arket. From floral plates and bowls to bamboo cutlery and colored water jugs; I want to have it all. Suddenly, I also feel an intense need to cook for ten people and set my table elaborately. Okay, I would rather skip the cooking, but just look at all these cozy items:
