These are the most popular wedding venues in the Netherlands

Wedding enthusiasts love lists. To-do lists, guest lists, menu lists, and of course, location lists. Because where on earth are you going to get married? Don't worry, because there is also a list of the most popular wedding venues in the Netherlands. Nice and easy: you just have to choose one. And then there's still a wedding to organize, of course. Little things will always remain.
Outfit ready, vows written, and rings prepared? Let's get married. At one of these ten amazing locations in the country.
At number one: Hoeve Landzicht in Nieuwer ter Aa
Located perhaps at the most central spot in the Netherlands, Hoeve Landzicht offers you some choices, as you promise each other eternal love in De Wagenschuur, De Hooiberg, or De Binnentuin & ’t Voor. Combining is also allowed. I could definitely dive into that Hooiberg.

A royal second: Kasteel De Hooge Vuursche
Hooge Vuursche is already impressive on its own, but add a castle to it and you have the perfect location. Can you see yourself waving from the terrace? It gives your special day immediate grandeur.

Number three: Kasteel Kerckebosch
Prefer small and intimate, but still a castle? Kerckebosch it is. The nice thing is that this small castle also has 30 hotel rooms, so your family can stay over. That will be lovely chatting over breakfast the next morning.

And that is four: Kasteel Wijenburg
It is clear that we have quite a few castles in the Netherlands. But if you want to get married in a knight's hall, then you go to Kasteel Wijenburg. Here in the Betuwe, you get everything for a fairytale day, from the moat to the towers.

At five: Landgoed te Werve in Rijswijk
For one day your own estate, mansion, impressive gardens, and then also get married there? You need to be at te Werve. The nice thing about this location is that you have both an outdoor and indoor wedding.

Number six: De Landgoederij in Bunnik
By the water, with a castle, expansive gardens, and that old farmhouse. If you get married at De Landgoederij, the photographer will probably keep shooting in this photogenic place. Ideal for celebrating your wedding from ceremony to party.

Everything out of the tent at seven: Feel Good TentEvent
Are you an outdoor person? Then you drive straight to Landgoed Pijnenburg. Here you get married in the middle of nature, and you see forest as far as the eye can see. The tents are incredibly wedding-worthy, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed.

At number eight: Kasteel Montfoort
Do you want to approach it not only civilly but also get married in church? It can be done at Kasteel Montfoort. The Commanderije is the place for your vows. Or would you prefer in the garden? That’s possible too. The choice of rooms and halls is enormous, so there’s definitely something for you.

A personal favorite at nine: Mereveld
I am a little biased when it comes to this location because I married my dear friends Vivian and Nico here. It is a wonderful location, from the beautiful space for the ceremony, the amazing garden to the party hall plus bar. We were of course extraordinarily pleased with that bar. Tip: this location is also a fairytale in winter.

Last but not least: Kasteel de Haar
Getting married in the chapel or maybe under the old tree, toasting in the rose garden, and what about dancing in the castle? By the way, the vows here are not time-bound; they can happen from early morning to late evening and on any day of the week.

The fun part is that wedding enthusiasts can take a tour of the Netherlands on September 25 to view the locations live, as there will be a real Open Wedding Venue Route. A case of ‘you don't know it exists until you know it exists.’.
