ROYAL REPORT FROM PRINCE CHARMING

Save the best for last, right? The finale was last week and of course I enjoyed it, but I also found it a bit boring at times. Maybe because Jakop, in hindsight, was really the obvious winner since episode one. The question everyone quickly had was more whether they would still be together, not whether he would actually win. Yes, looking back that's easy of course. Or maybe I was just really looking forward to the reunion because that one with Tony Jr. was so juicy. Let’s goooo.

1. I think Carlo Boszhard is great, but why isn't Robbert Rodenburg presenting this?

2. Wow, I can't really remember that Olaf, but he immediately makes a statement. Love it. #freethenipple

3. ‘Should I introduce myself?’ YES. I see so many unfamiliar faces, wow.

4. ‘Who was cold?’ ‘Ehh-JIMMY.’ Hahaaa. Wow, the catty claws are out.

5. Aah, Lars has a lover back home. Cute. Roy too. Love is definitely in the air at this reunion.

6. My goodness, how lame that Carlo calls Bobby's footage ‘shocking’, and then he also says: ‘Now the big news…’ and it turns out to just be a pretty bad joke.

7. I enjoy this compilation from Marcel. That’s it. That’s the message for now.

8. No, I do have a comment about this. We’ve been at the reunion for over ten minutes now and over 80 percent of that consists of flashbacks from the season. Come on, we want juice.

9. Whuuut. Marcel has actually found love in the Palazzo?

10. How's it going, cameramen? Just spend five minutes trying your best not to get the man in question on camera. You haven't forgotten how to deliver cliffhangers.

11. Aaah, too cute: Marcel and Julien. Anyway, a relationship has come out of Prince Charming: I think this season is a success.

12. Lesley and Jimmy kissed. So-wie-so. Whuut, is Jimmy secretly the reason Lesley left early? Was that kiss in the Palazzo? Hello Carlo, stop with the brie sandwiches, we want details.

13. Are there people who do NOT instantly get happy when Michael speaks? I really can't imagine that. Such a happy egg is just too fun to see?

14. Yes, another five-minute flashback about the discussions AND of course Open Relationshipgate. We’ve all seen that already, makers. We’d rather discuss this at the table with the participants themselves.

15. HAHA. Casper, you’re just a bit caught out there. ‘Well, we did kiss.’ The count is now at four: four of the participants have kissed in the Palazzo. We’ll find out about that in the very last episode.

16. But that's totally fine, because I think Casper and Jakop make quite a nice couple.

17. Angelo has had a boyfriend since the recordings and has traveled the whole world with him, I see. Quite busy.

18. Wait. Pause. Did Jakop also kiss Jimmy? In the laundry room? Doesn’t this just mean that we actually haven’t seen the most exciting and juicy things this season?

19. The fact that Jimmy has received so much hate on social media, I do have some thoughts on that. I’ve read some comments on Instagram and I really find them quite harsh. Here’s a call: #doeslief, you never know how such a program is edited and you don’t know the person you’re being so mean about at all. Also a waste of your energy. And it also looks quite silly, by the way, such a comment. End of plea.

20. Fiiiiinally. Chris doesn’t have an earpiece in, so no Tel Sell voice. I really like him the most in all the episodes.

21. Yes, now I completely understand why all those men fell for Chris. Really a nice guy.

22. And we’ve arrived at Chris and Jakop: are they still together? I guess not. What will the explanation be? Probably something like: ‘We realized in the Netherlands that it just didn’t work out.’

26. It would be really nice if it’s the case here that the number two eventually becomes the number one of Prince Charming. Although I’m feeling a bit gloomy about it here.

27. But I mainly hope that Chris, after his heartbreak, will find love again. He has stolen my heart a bit during this reunion.

That’s it then: Prince Charming season 2 is done. No love for Chris unfortunately, but other men have found love. We won’t have to wait long without love: The Bachelor starts again on February 18 with Thomas van der Vlugt from StukTV. Are we going to watch that again? Is the Pope Catholic? Does a bear shit in the woods? OF COURSE we’ll be there.
