Today We Drink – The best recipe for white sparkling sangria

Of all summer drinks, Sangria is really my absolute favorite. And in particular one: my homemade white sparkling sangria. Personally, I'm not that fond of the traditional red variant with wine; I often find it too sweet and a bit nauseating, but you can really wake me up for the fresh white variant with bubbles. I know, of course, that there are countless sangria recipes online, but I am firmly convinced that I have the best (no longer secret) recipe in hand.

I created this recipe during my student days when I lived with three friends. Every week we made a gigantic pitcher of sangria (we even bought a special vase for that) before we went out. Our house was also known as the sangria clubhouse, where friends loved to come by for a drink.

That's why I'm sharing my beloved recipe with you:

  • 1/4 Spa sparkling (lemon flavor)
  • 1/4 Licor 43
  • 2/4 prosecco
  • Scoop ice cubes
  • 2 green apples
  • 2 oranges
  • Handful of mint

First, throw some ice cubes into a pitcher (or large vase) along with the liqueur and Spa. Then, cut the apples and oranges into pieces and mix them in the pitcher. Finally, top off the last layer with prosecco and add some mint leaves as a topping. Super easy, right? The combination of these ingredients is truly magical, so go taste it quickly. I definitely feel like having some again right away.
