Research proves: drinking Red Bull makes you a more difficult person

A long time ago, when I was still a student, I drank cans of Red Bull. Not a lot, but for example at nine o'clock in the morning.
When we had to take an exam, I thought it was a great idea. Such an exam often lasted about three hours. To be able to focus well for hours, I took a banana and a can of Red Bull with me. To be honest: I never got a failing grade, so it kept me somewhat sharp. But was it really responsible? Not really. Red Bull contains a lot of substances that you can't really call healthy.
Fighting
New research shows that drinking Red Bull makes you a more difficult person. Research at the University of Victoria found that mixing alcohol with highly caffeinated drinks like RB increases the chance of injury compared to just drinking beer. Injury? Yes. As in: people are more likely to fight or get involved in an accident when they've had Red Bull. They argue more quickly and are more easily provoked and irritated. Now, of course, it's not like you should read this as: if I drink Red Bull, I'll have an accident. Of course not. And having one can now and then is certainly not harmful. But if you drink that supermix of alcohol with this caffeine boost all night, it may have consequences in the long run.
Mild drugs
It all has to do with the taurine in Red Bull. That substance is addictive. According to experts, it works like this: ‘It feels like you are more awake. It really has an uplifting, stimulating effect. If you compare it to stimulant drugs like speed or cocaine, then an energy drink is a very mild variant of that.’ The more you drink, the more reckless the behavior you will exhibit and the worse your addiction will be.
So comparable to drugs. What a rebel I was as a student, huh. Even with all those good grades.
