Science says: women can park better than men

woman driving

I debunked the tiring prejudice about women behind the wheel some time ago, based on hard evidence from a study. It showed that women drive much more cautiously than men and are therefore less often involved in serious accidents. Additionally, women feel more responsibility and are less likely to drive drunk than men. We also spend less time on our phones while driving. In short: we women can drive better than men.

But now I have found yet another study that shows we are also much better at parking than men. Because you often get the necessary comments thrown at you as a woman about that too. Coincidentally, I am genuinely a star at parking, so it's high time to bring the truth to light.

TanQYou conducted a study on the parking skills of men and women. And what did it show? Women cause less damage while parking than men. The study revealed that four out of ten women have ever caused damage while parking, while for men it was five out of ten. Well, that's really a serious difference. In any case, enough to stop claiming that we can't do it.

And then one last nice discovery: besides the fact that we cause less damage, we also park without help. Nowadays, many cars can make parking easier with all the technical gadgets they have, such as cameras and sensors. The same study showed that women make much less use of this than men. Almost a third of men indicated that they use this parking assistance compared to only a tenth of women. Well, it couldn't be clearer, right? Women are just natural talents when it comes to parking.
