See: first footage of new video series Sleepers
We dive back into the underworld at Videoland in the coming time. Last week I was fully immersed in the second season of Judas (and I still have quite a few episodes to go), and the next series is already around the corner: Sleepers. I had never heard of the concept of ‘sleepers’, but I have little to no knowledge of criminals. Sleepers are apparently young people who are sent to police training from a criminal organization, in order to go undercover with the police. Learned something new.
In this new series, those sleepers are Martin (played by Robert de Hoog) and Willem (played by Teun Kuilboer). A tough double role, especially since Martin is in a relationship with Noura (Maryam Hassouni), who is a detective with the police. Awkward.
But well, it's a perfect recipe for quite a bit of tension and it looks like that's going to be just fine, if you look at the first images that have just been dropped by Videoland. They look wonderfully promising again. Lots of action, drugs, guns, in short: everything we need. Let’s gooo.
Fortunately, we don't have to wait too long, because it will be online on December 8.
