Foodhack: adding soy sauce to your brownie

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: soy sauce in your brownies.
Baking is a precision task, we know that all too well. Handy baking tips and tricks for working with sticky substances come in very handy. But did you know this tip that makes your brownies even tastier?
Remember those brownies with Baileys? Divine delicious. But whether you make them with or without the creamy liqueur, gooey brownies with an intense chocolate flavor remain one of my favorite baking recipes.
You wouldn't expect it
Now there is an ingredient that gives brownies a deeper and intense flavor and that is, you wouldn't expect it, soy sauce. The salty flavor is the perfect counterbalance to that overload of sugar. The umami of soy sauce also works perfectly.
Amazingly delicious
So are you planning to get started with a brownie recipe this weekend? Then replace that teaspoon of salt with a teaspoon of the tastiest soy sauce you have in your kitchen cupboard. Go for it, because the result is amazing.
