The strangest celebrity lawsuits
Everything is bigger and weirder in America. But in Hollywood, it's all the worst. The nickname Hollyweird: I totally get it. I've delved into the strangest lawsuits involving celebrities and... It's quite something. It's especially really very strange. Can you imagine being sued because a stranger claims to be the mother of your children? That's just crazy, right? It happened to Kim Kardashian. Never a dull moment in Hollywood, that's for sure.
1. Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, and Mariah were sued by a woman named Tina Seals, who claimed to be the mother of their children
Of ALL THREE women, yes. Not going well? By the way, she claimed the same about Prince, Paris, and Blanket of Michael Jackson long before. That would mean this woman has really given birth to an intense number of children, but how strange is it when this lawsuit is brought against you? ‘You know, your daughter North West? Yeah, she actually came from me.’ Uh, okay... Luckily, they demanded quite reasonable things in return, namely (in the case of Mariah Carey) five singing lessons from Miss Carey herself and also five CDs that would be released under her label.
2. Mila Kunis allegedly stole a chicken
A certain Kristina Karo saw that Mila Kunis became very famous and very rich and thought: I have a bone to pick with her. Apparently, the two ladies knew each other from back in Ukraine, and Mila Kunis allegedly stole her chicken named ‘Doggie’ back then — according to Karo. She had quite a bit of trouble with that later, when Mila was rich and Karo was trying to make it as a singer, and so she wanted $$5000 to cover the costs of therapy sessions. After losing ‘Doggie’, she became very isolated. Hm-hm.
3. Halle Berry, Armie Hammer, Amanda Bynes, and Disney were sued... For a reason?
No idea what this woman was thinking, but she had a plan. If she could get these stars and Disney in one courtroom, she could read her novel about the civil war (of only 2000 pages) so that Disney could turn it into a movie and these stars could play the lead roles. Foolproof plan.
4. Sean Combs/P. Diddy/Puff Daddy/Diddy (what is he called these days?) was sued for 9/11
Uh, WOW. Imagine receiving a letter that an unknown woman, Valerie Turks in this case, is suing you because you would be responsible for the 9/11 attacks. She asked for one trillion US dollars. It won't surprise you that she ultimately ended up empty-handed.
5. Jay-Z was sued because he allegedly didn't pay his mentor
Jeffrey Philistin from Florida was in prison and decided to send Jay-Z song lyrics from there. When he was a free man and Jay-Z was still famous and a multimillionaire, he found that a bit unfair and therefore sued him for 90 million dollars, claiming he ‘had taught Jay-Z how to write song lyrics.’.
6. Kim Kardashian was sued for allegedly throwing underwear at someone
Poor Kim... I could seriously write this article again with only lawsuits against Kim Kardashian. One Gino Romano accused her in 2012 of running an Armenian terrorist camp and also having an affair with American quarterback Tim Tebow and politician Michele Bachman. No idea what this Romano would have to do with those affairs, but it didn't stop there: Kim allegedly threw her worn underwear at him, causing him to contract an STD. Right...
