These are the signs that you have too much stress

I feel like I always have stress, so I don't really get surprised by it anymore. Whether it's about work or a nice dinner with friends, I simply panic about everything. It sounds very dramatic, but unfortunately, it's true. Well, a little stress is healthy, they say, right? A life without stress seems like an impossible task to me. But how do you know if you have a healthy dose of stress?
There are a number of clear signs that indicate you are suffering from too much stress. Do the points below sound very familiar to you? Then it's high time to take it a bit easier.
1. You have anger outbursts
You think you have everything under control, but then suddenly out of nowhere, you explode over something very trivial. Anger is often a result of stress, which you release through such an unpleasant outburst. I must say: this point is very recognizable for me.
2. You have digestive issues
Many people who are stressed experience digestive problems. This is because there is a connection between our gut and our brain. So if you often have stomach issues, stress could very well be the cause, and your body is trying to make this clear to you.
3. You don't eat well
You skip breakfast and snack unhealthily during lunch. Your dinner is a ready-made meal from the microwave or a fried egg. In short: if your eating pattern is irregular or unhealthy, it could be that you are so stressed that you no longer take the time to eat properly. When you don't nourish your body with good things, not much good comes out of it, it's that simple. So make sure to take the time to eat well, it will ultimately save you stress.
4. You are dead tired but can't sleep
All day long you are exhausted and can't wait to go to bed, but as soon as the moment finally arrives, you lie wide awake under the covers. Not sleeping increases your stress even more, which leads to more bad nights. This vicious circle needs to be broken. I keep saying it: phone and laptop out of that bedroom and go read a book.
5. You have muscle pain
And not because you've been exercising hard, but because you are tense from stress. This is because you are tensing your shoulders, jaw, and neck all day long. Again, a sign from your body. Do you notice that you have this issue? I would say quickly book a massage. Perhaps not the solution for the long term, but definitely for the short term. Schedule it especially at the end of the day, who knows, you might fall asleep wonderfully afterward.
6. Poor memory
When you are stressed, you feel like your head is overflowing, which can cause you to forget the simplest things, like your own phone number. Stress causes a disruption in the part of your brain that stores important information and memories, but it also makes it difficult for you to retrieve them. No worries: just breathe in and out calmly, and that phone number will come back to you.
7. Cold feet or hands
We usually think of natural cold when we have cold hands and feet, but it could also mean stress, as cold and stress have the same effect on your body. In both cases, your blood vessels in your hands, feet, ears, and nose constrict, so less blood flows through them. The blood needs to keep your vital organs warm. Well, this immediately explains my always cold hands, feet, and nose.
