People say: these are the dumbest things that people act tough about

My number one pet peeve is probably people who act really tough about something. And it doesn't even matter whether that's justified or not (although I find the latter just a bit more annoying); acting tough or bragging about something I find so unattractive. Unless you've discovered the cure for cancer or found a new planet, you should just keep it normal. Reddit agrees, where there was a massive response to the question: ‘What unimpressive things are people idiotically proud of?’
Recognition everywhere, just read for yourself.
1. ‘Not taking a break at work in a job where no one will care if you drop dead the next day.’
2. ‘How much money their parents earn.’
3. ‘I recently heard someone bragging that he had had corona three times and that he still went to the gym the last time. You're not cool, you're a fool.’
4. ‘Not eating vegetables. Some people really act like it's an achievement if you don't like vegetables.’
5. ‘Going to work when you're sick. A colleague bragged that he had a sore throat but was still working, ‘because he was a hard worker.’’
6. ‘Drinking a lot of alcohol.’
7. ‘Still being able to drive when you're drunk. Why is that something cool?’
8. ‘Not being able to cook. I hear it so often from people and I don't understand why they're so proud of it.’
9. ‘When they confidently say: ‘That's just how I am.’ It's not cool to be a jerk, to hurt others and to brag about it.’
10. ‘People who say: ‘I just always say it like it is’ when they say something mean. You can also be a nice person and be honest.’
11. ‘How little sleep they need.’
12. ‘Not reading books, why is that positive?’
