Tempa Talk: Episode 10

It's time for the, drumroll please, dream daaaates. That means we only have one episode left after this, and then (if we're lucky) a reunion. And can I get a big round of applause for the participants (except for Ivo, because he has made this ride a bit tiring) because no one has cheated yet. Until this episode, of course. We saw it in the preview, but this is going to be the episode where everything goes wrong. And I especially hope for Maris. She deserves it.

1. We're only at the recap of last week and I can't hear the word ‘concept’ anymore. This is going to be something.

2. Okay, but just in between: I am also aware that Maris and Ivo have participated in a reality show before. One where they were going to investigate if an open relationship would be something for them. Then one question keeps lingering for me: why does she suddenly find it the worst topic ever to talk about on TV?

3. Excuse me, I still have a question. Why would you participate in two reality shows that both revolve around relationships? Do you just want to become an influencer and thus become famous, or... Yes, or what actually. No one believes that you participate because your relationship is worth that much to you.

4. You can tell that the creators are really going all out this season to ensure that there is still cheating. Special footage for participants, extra footage, stirring the max in relationships... Still a hat tip to all participants, no matter how crazy they all behave.

5. ‘The relationship was already not going smoothly,’ says Antonio. What he means by this? No idea. You could kill me. It could be positive, it could be negative, and the chance is very present that Antonio himself has no idea either.

6. Seducer Ramon who is a bit surprised, almost offended, that Annebel finds her boyfriend the most important. A loyal person with the right priorities in Temptation Island? Stop this MADNESS.

7. A genuinely quirky character, that Ramon, to immediately score another dream date behind her back.

8. ‘I had a Fleurtastische day.’ HAHA. Quite a funny way to say that you have been a very willing rebound.

9. That your photo frame goes off and you are very tense because OMG, maybe your boyfriend is cheating but you still can't resist the urge to sing along. I'm going to swimmuuuhhh...

11. Hahaaaa. That Kaj. ‘I didn't come in very welcomed yesterday, to-’ ‘NO.’

12. Antonio is angry because Cleo doesn't wait until after the show to discuss the footage, but goes to bed with someone else within the playlist of Oranje TV. Typical.

13. Just a thought in between: did that light from the pool ever come on or have we ever heard the words ‘Swing of Love’? Neuh, right?

14. Maybe it's time for the creators to value us and realize that we really do understand that they just found that first couple too boring for TV and therefore had to find a replacement.

15. It's also dry that Esmé and Ivo were long gone on that dream date and they seemed to have completely forgotten that they had invited a third person at all. Also surprised that there is such a photo frame; how could this answer from Maris have come to you otherwise?

16. Really super sweet that Ramon plans to help Cleo further at home with her process. No idea what process or how involved he has been since about twelve o'clock since he was fully focused on Annebel before that, but still. Really super sweet.

17. In this case, I do understand Ivo: I also wouldn't be able to fully enjoy this dinner. Sorry, but can we please turn on a light?! I would like to know what I'm eating.

18. Furthermore, there is of course nothing logical about what this man is currently spouting: you've been working for over a week on all your concepts and manifesting your polyamorous dreams and now you're very bewildered that it doesn't quite work out? Colour me shocked.

20. What is Fleur saying now? ‘In nine months a mini-Toon in the car’? First of all: please no. Second: why would you proudly say on TV that you did it unprotected while you yourself are not using protection? Weird flex, but okay.

21. Noooo, WHITNEY. What are you doing? Why go wrong at the last moment? Minus points. So many minus points.

22. ‘Screwing yourself over is also screwing.’ You go, Maris. We all wished it for you.

23. I hear you asking: does Wieke have absolutely no thoughts about a crying Ivo this week? That's correct. I really don't have the strength for it anymore.

24. Am I going to cry next week at René's proposal? Absolutely. I could hardly hold it back already.
