People say: ‘this TikTok trend makes me so angry’

Well, I can't deny it anymore: I'm addicted to TikTok too. Now I feel like at 32 years old I'm a bit too old for the app, but it's just too entertaining. Scrolling aimlessly through your ‘for you page’: delightful and brainless, love it. But some trends I see... Yes, I have some thoughts on that. Fortunately, I'm not the only one, as TikTok has now also reached Reddit, where users responded to the question ‘what TikTok trend have you anger issues?’. I can completely relate to the most popular answers, so I've put them together for you.
1. ‘Playback stand-up comedy. Your silent performance doesn't make the joke better, it makes it weird.’
2. ‘Duets where the other person just reacts/laughs. Especially when it's obvious that person has already seen the video.’
3. ‘Every video that tells me: ‘wait for it’, while that terrible ‘oh no’ song plays.’
4. ‘Everything with ‘like for part 2’. All videos with multiple people sharing really drive me crazy, because you can't just scroll to the next video, you have to go to their account and then search for the video you just watched and then scroll back up to find part two. It's so frustrating.’
5. ‘Every ‘prank video’ where someone convinces their partner that they are cheating. That kind of stuff isn't funny, and I would 100 percent break up with someone if they did that to me.’
6. ‘Those videos where they dance some weird choreography while telling a very personal story. Seriously, you're doing the stanky leg while talking about your mother's cancer? I find that quite strange.’
7. ‘When people are in their kitchen and just dump bowls of sauce on their food as if it's the best comedy ever.’
8. ‘I hate that weird fake voice that so many people use. In 99 percent of the cases, the text is already in the video, so what's the point?’
9. ‘I could be brown, I could be blue, I could be violet sky... My god, how I hate that trend.’
10. ‘A song I've loved for years, Pope Is A Rockstar, suddenly becomes a trend. But apparently, people think the lyrics are: ‘go little rockstar’, despite the fact that the title literally is Pope Is A Rockstar.’
