This is the date when The Handmaid’s Tale is back

Yeah guys, blessed be the fruit and may the Lord ooooopen. We can sit down comfortably again: finally season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale is coming. And it has taken a while, I must say. But as always, I assume that this wait has been worth it because this series remains really too good.

Admittedly: we still have to be a little patient, but that's fine: just survive the summer and then we’re there. September 14 is the day, so mark that date bold in your calendar, because then the entire fifth season will be online. In other words: bingeeeeeen. SO EXCITED.

The previous season was already over a year ago, as it came out in April 2021. A good excuse to do a little refresher course and watch some episodes again. Coincidentally, I had to think about The Handmaid’s Tale this week when I watched the Netflix series Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey. They have striking and especially grim similarities, but this docuseries was about real life. So if you want to get into the mood, check this out.
