The Traitors: discussing episode 9

Here it is, the finale. I keep forgetting that there is also silver to win and not just the honor. Maybe also because I still don't quite understand what you actually do with that silver. But my goodness, I'm just a bit nervous. Will Stefano succeed? I didn't find the other three particularly high flyers this season, but apparently that has been the tactic that works. Okay, no more waiting. For the last time: let’s goooo.
1. The episode has literally just started a few seconds ago and I'm already bummed that it's the last one. These episodes have really flown by. Hey RTL, when is the new season coming? We're impatient.
2. By the way, I did skip the flashback from the previous episode because I still don't agree that Jamie was banished. It still hurts.
3. HAHA. What is Stefano wearing now? What is this act? Why isn't he talking? What is happening here?
4. No, but seriously, this is very strange. That clothing is weird. Not talking until the round table is really special. And not feasible, right? But I already have trouble with half an hour of silence.
5. ‘No words are coming out, he took off his pants for some reason.’ This is so weird. That poor Steven is trying to salvage it a bit but everything is going wrong here. And he also has glasses on that look very medium on his head.
6. Look, I was also angry because Jamie was banished and maybe I threw some things, but the next morning I did put on pants, unlike Stefano. And talked.
7. ‘He’s really a very strange guy’ about Stefano is definitely the understatement of this season.
8. Honestly: this act of Stefano is going to cost him his win. It can't be otherwise. This was just so absurd and exaggerated, he won't get away with it.
9. Naaah, what a last test this is. Only three people can do the test, but you also don't want to disappoint the others. So you're going to do it, but maybe that's just not the point. What. A. Mindfuck.
10. If I were Toine, I would really just call it a day. No polonaise on my body, you know. Figure it out with your tattoo.
11. That they find Steven's test the most extreme. How does that work exactly? Two minutes in an ice bath versus a lifetime with a tattoo you don't want. I'll take that cold.
12. I am really very glad that I am under a warm blanket and not in that ice bath. It's really striking that he still gets out quite tranquilo. I would really fly into the warmth.
13. Hahaaa, Toine wants to keep the tension in. No way he did it. Definitely not.
14. Wait, what? Is Stefano seriously going to throw it on the prize money now? That's tricky. Playing a bit on feeling. The guilt of the other participants. I'm not quite sure what I think of this.
15. Yep. That’s it. No more Traitors in the game. But you can say what you think about it, one thing is clear: Stefano has at least caused a lot of sensation. For the first time in the history of The Traitors, also just voting for no one.
16. In the previous episodes, everyone was really euphoric when they kicked a Traitor out. Now it's shock and tears. But I don't really understand Stefano's anger either. Why so angry all of a sudden? You're making that poor Dionne cry.
17. Also that whole sermon about intelligence, wasn't it clever of Frank to see through all this? And you killed him yourself. And now complaining that there is no intelligence left. The logic here is completely unclear to me.
18. Secretly it would be really hilarious if Dionne, after all those episodes of being a bit of a wallflower, actually goes for betrayal. I can never see her doing it, but still. It would be fun.
19. But it’s also nice to end this season with a bit of a Kumbaya feeling. Everyone loyal. The Traitors banished. All's well that ends well.
20. And, RTL, WHEN CAN WE AGAIN?
