Important millennial things that Gen Z will never experience

Millennials, also known as Generation Y or Gen Y (but that sounds less cool), are the people born between 1981 and 1996. I was born in 1989, so I definitely fall into that category. After that comes Generation Z, born between 1997 and 2012. What comes next, I didn't even know, but Google was able to tell me: Generation Alpha. That will end in 2024, and then Generation Beta will take over (until 2039).
Now I must mention that there are different years floating around on the internet (some sites, for example, state that millennials are up to 1994 and Generation Z up to 2010), but the fact is that there is a lot of difference between these generations. I'm so curious how that will develop further. I feel like technology has made such a gigantic leap in recent years; how can it possibly get any better? Or are we really getting flying cars a la Back To The Future? Does Generation Z even know what that is, or are they totally unfamiliar with Marty McFly and Doc?
There are actually a lot of things that Generation Z cannot imagine, things that were very important to millennials. Fun things, but also less fun things. Here are: things that Generation Z will never experience.
1. The struggle of a bumpy road when you want to ride your bike with your Discman.
…And that Discman didn't fit in your jacket pocket nine out of ten times.
2. Not showing up on time for your MSN date because your mom is on the phone with your grandma for so long.
3. Wanting your crush to talk to you on MSN, so going online and offline twelve times in a row. You must stand out, right?! Hello. Talk to me. Here. Am. I.
4. Wanting to record the new music video of your favorite band and sitting ready with a blank tape to record.
5. Wanting to download that same song from KaZaA, waiting five hours, and then it turns out to be a completely different song.
6. Renting tapes at the video store and getting furious because the person before you didn't rewind it.
7. Secretly watching the naked people documentary in Break-Out! but saying you buy the magazine for the gigantic posters they always had.
8. How proud you felt when you took your entire marble bag to school with your rare emperors, super bouncers, and mega giants. And your bouncy balls that you mainly played with.
9. Being the first in class with a Nokia and then constantly losing your phone because everyone wants to snake.
10. The Motorola Razor. You had no one to call or text, but holy shit, you were cool.
11. Dancing at school parties to Def Rhymz.
12. Not knowing how intense it was on September 11, 2001, and knowing that everyone around you your age still remembers where they were when they heard it.
13. Fighting with your brother/sister for the Game Boy when you were on vacation.
14. Wanting to score tickets for a concert you really want to go to, so waiting at the post office before opening time.
15. Rolling down car windows by turning that one handle.
16. Not knowing if The Blair Witch Project really happened or not, because that was one big mystery.
17. Knowing HTML codes because your Cu2 or PP2G page used to be the prettiest.
18. This sound.
20. Having Jan Peter Balkenende as a friend on Hyves.
21. Knowing where this guy is from.
22. Feeling like a walking fashion statement when you wore your Paul Frank shirt.
