There’s a good chance you have a pair or three of mispurchases hanging there (and of course we accept that in the search for the perfect fit), but getting rid of the slightly less popular ones right away isn’t really the intention either. On the contrary, we’re going to treat those forgotten jeans to a new life today with a super easy DIY project that will make you want to wear them again.

The idea? We’re getting started with the #1 TikTok trend of the moment: the jeans boots. Inspired by the Kalda boots of Elsa Hosk, many fashion girls were sure: this is one for the wishlist. Or maybe not… Because while Elsa's shoe costs around 550 euros, TikTokers thought: that can be cheaper. Influencers massively started DIY-ing and soon shared how to recreate the shoe in under five minutes. All you need is a pair of jeans that you dare to cut up and a knee-high pair of boots. Cut the legs of your jeans longer than your shoe and fold them around the shaft of your boot. Make two playful cuts at the bottom of your jeans and voilà: your own ‘jean boot’ is ready to go.
