For a long time, I thought I didn't have a hat head and that's why I never wore one. It turns out that was a conclusion I once drew without ever trying on a hat. Awkward, but well, better late than never, because now I suddenly am a hat person. It can really give your outfit that little extra and it's ideal for when my hair just doesn't want to cooperate. But the search for that one beautiful piece turned out to be harder than I thought.
But that's also a thing of the past, because I discovered a new brand: Hoed Amsterdam. Well, it's not really new anymore: it has been around for two years now. It was founded by Guusje de Bot, who (you guessed it) lives in Amsterdam. Her hats are handmade in Italy and I think they are all really cool.
