On the twenty-eighth (!) day of my alcohol-free May, I just have to share my latest alcohol-free discovery with you. When I get my hands on a zero-point-zero, I dare to say that I don't even miss alcohol anymore. Although it does need to be a bit refreshing. For example, yesterday I accidentally ordered a glass of alcohol-free Riesling that tasted like apple juice, and that was quite disappointing. The gist of all the alcohol-free stuff is mainly that beer works quite well, alcohol-free gin too, but it goes wrong with wine. That's why I'm sticking to beer in this case, but the tropical variant. I tried a Corona Cero last week and it just tastes like real Corona. Now, cero corona sounds appealing anyway, so maybe that influenced my taste experience. But if you don't drink, can't drink, or just have had enough, then this might just be the tastiest alcohol-free summer drink of 2022. Even the biggest critic in my surroundings gave an approving nod, which says something.
