See: new trailer reboot The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air

Wooow, I totally missed something here. There is a reboot of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air coming and I was completely unaware of it. And that's not all: the trailer has just dropped and it will be out in a month: it will air on February 13. That's American TV, and I'm curious if Netflix or another streaming service will pick it up.

The series will be called Bel-Air and I'm not quite sure what to think of it yet. It is really very different from the original, which is a truly over-the-top sitcom. This feels much more serious and I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes more of a coming-of-age series instead of joining in on the Carlton dance. Shocking: that whole dance is probably not going to be seen at all! WHUT.

Will Smith is involved by the way, as a producer. The original creators of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air are also back: Andy and Susan Borowitz.

I'm very curious what you all think: skip it or catch it? I'm still undecided. It will take a while before I can associate The Fresh Prince with a tear-jerking series, but I have a month to prepare for that.
