This site is full of people who do not exist at all

The whole hype that has been going on in America for years like ‘the government is watching us’ I have never really picked up. Maybe that's because I really have quite a boring life, so I can't imagine that anyone would need to keep an eye on me, that would be the most boring job ever. The same goes for facial recognition: I find it rather extremely handy (I'm a disaster at remembering passwords) than that I don't trust it. But to be fair, it does go far when you look at what technology can do nowadays.

Because by collecting all the data from our faces, computers can now completely create people themselves. Just check the website This Person Does Not Exist. The name says it all, but indeed: this website only shows people who do not exist. Every time you click on it, you get to see another person, who therefore does not exist. It looks just like a photo. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?

Maybe it's extra creepy because they all look like private photos and everyone is really looking straight into the camera. And then to think that these are just NOT existing people. I can hardly wrap my head around it. I don't know if I find this website really scary or very interesting, but I keep refreshing.
