Whut: is George Clooney moving to the Netherlands?

Well, what is this again? I am really a fan of our country, but I can't imagine that an A-lister would necessarily want to live here. Years ago, there were rumors that Brad Pitt had bought a place in Amsterdam (which turned out not to be true, but he really loved our capital) and Justin Bieber would also become an Amsterdammer. But unfortunately, that also turned out to be fake news. Third time's the charm then..? Because if we are to believe the rumors, George Clooney will soon be a resident of our little frog country, but he will not be living in Amsterdam.

No, in the always beautiful, exotic, and picturesque Voorburg. HAHA. How hilarious would it be if one of the best actors ended up in a suburb of The Hague? It's not that crazy, by the way, because his wife Amal has been working for the International Court of Justice in The Hague for years. Well, living in a hotel is starting to get a bit boring, so they would have bought a villa for no less than 2.6 million, on Oosteinde street in Voorburg.

The couple has already been spotted in the center of The Hague; Mr. Clooney himself has even visited a barber and a baker. Is it really true? According to the neighbors of the sold villa, there is nothing true about it: ‘A young guy is moving in who looks a bit like him.’ Bummer.

But then the former owner is called to ask if he indeed sold it to George Clooney. The answer? ‘Yes, that's correct.’ This could of course be a really fun publicity stunt from him, but how cool would that be? The Hague was recently very positively featured in the American news, so who knows, that might have given him the push. Have readers from The Hague and/or Voorburg already spotted George? I am very curious.
