Yesterday was the first Monday of May, or in other words: Met o’clock. All the greats and goods have gathered and are providing an overload of ‘say whats’ and ‘wows’ on the red carpet where pearls, glitters, and diamonds take center stage. With the theme ‘In America: An Anthology of Fashion’ and dress code ‘Gilded Glamour’, referring to the period from 1870 to 1890 known as a time of unprecedented prosperity, cultural change, and industrialization, each look in 2022 is even more insane than the last.

Have the stylists of the biggest players in the fashion world succeeded this year? From Kim Kardashian in the most expensive dress in the world (read: the iconic dress worn by none other than Marilyn Monroe in 1962 when she sang ‘Happy Birthday’ for President John F.
