What TikTok is good for, huh? You can find recipes, sex positions, in my case a lot of Taylor Swift and cat videos... But also dating advice. Jacob Lucafor example, who works as a dating coach and shares tips on his TikTok that could come in handy.

These five red flags, for example, that you should NEVER ignore when you are dating someone or in a budding relationship.

1. Telling secrets
I completely understand this, because I also get very nervous when people you just met start sharing a lot of private information. According to Jacob, you should avoid these people: especially when they want to make you feel pity for them. When someone has really had a tough time in their life, they usually don't share that quickly. So when someone does, it's probably not sincere, and in the worst case, a tactic to find out how easy it is to manipulate you.

2. Speaking badly about your ex
Well, that seems logical, right? Biiiiig red flag. Especially be careful if they call their ex ‘crazy’. Run away from this person quickly.

3. Indecisiveness
When you notice that you are ultimately the one coming up with all the ideas for a date, choosing the restaurants, and determining how often you see each other: pack your bags and run away, because this relationship will otherwise drain you.

4. Speaking badly about your friends
This seems to me a red flag in general, not just with a potential lover. What will that person say about you if they already speak so poorly about their most intimate circle?

5. Ambitions that differ too much
According to Jacob, there are two options: ‘You either grow together or you grow apart’, and when you both want completely different things in life, it's often the latter. Unfortunately.
