The brand new iPhone 15 was presented yesterday

When it comes to technological gadgets, I am really very much: I always want to have the latest of the latest. So when I heard that the iPhone 15 was presented yesterday, I immediately checked when my subscription can be renewed. And yes, that can almost be done. I currently have the iPhone 14 Pro and I am so happy with it – and it still works really well after two years. That's why I don't want to get a new one right away this time ‘just because I can’, but I have really dived into the specific features of the iPhone 15. Because is it worth it?

At first glance, not much has changed; still the rounded corners and the same retina display; the size has remained exactly the same. Only the thickness differs, the iPhone 15 is 0.15 millimeters thicker than its predecessor. This is due to a larger battery that has more capacity, so that's already 1-0 for the new iPhone 15.

Then to the screen itself: there you see quite a change with the iPhone 15 Pro, because the quality has changed a lot: the iPhone 15 Pro has a much sharper image with its 2796 x 1290 pixels (the iPhone 14 has 2532 x 1170 pixels). And thus, it absolutely makes it 2-0.

If you don't want to go for the iPhone 15 Pro, there are still many upgrades: the memory is much larger (6GB instead of the 4GB of the iPhone 14) and the processor is better and faster.

But then the last, and for me the most important point: the camera. Unfortunately, the front camera has remained almost the same, but the rear camera makes the difference. That camera has become 48 megapixels on the iPhone 15; a huge difference from the iPhone 14, which has ‘only’ 12 megapixels. And in addition, you can also use the ’telephoto’ option with the Pro. Well, then it's game, set, match for the iPhone 15. I'm going to order it right away, because before you know it, there will be a huge queue again – and now that I know this, I understand why.

And because the eye also wants something, you can choose from the following colors: midnight, light green, yellow, light pink, and light blue. Okay, one more plus point then: it needs to be charged with a USB-C cable, so we are finally rid of the hassle that you can only charge your iPhone with one specific cable.
