Chantal Janzen is coming with a new series on Videoland

There is no episode online yet, but I dare to say already: this is going to be fun. Very fun even. Because what could go wrong here? A series with Chantal Janzen, from Will Koopman (the woman behind Gooische Vrouwen), that can only be good news. One Big Family will be the name of the new series and it will be available on Videoland from October 14. No Videoland? No worries, the first episode will also be available on RTL4 on that date at half past nine in the evening.

Chantal Janzen not only plays one of the lead roles, she has also been closely involved in the creation of the series. She has been walking around with an idea for a series about a blended family for a while: ‘It is of course something that is close to me because of my own blended family that I have been very proud of for seventeen years. A blended family always comes from something that is tough: a divorce or breakup from a previous family. When you then form a new household because one of the parents gets a new partner, it never goes without the necessary struggles, irritations, stress but also happiness and comedic moments.’

One Big Family is about Julia (Chantal Janzen) and her new boyfriend Taco (Lykele Muus), who are going to live together with her three children at his place with his two daughters. Literally one big family, and I think very recognizable for many.
