Oh yes, starting this summer you can fly to New York for a bargain

A week and a half ago I was there again and it was amazing. No words for it. I'm talking about The Big Apple: I treated my father to five days in New York for his birthday. Very special and especially very fun. But also: very expensive. The last time I was in this city was just before corona, in February 2020. Now, a little over three years later, hotel and restaurant prices in some places have even doubled.
But from this summer it’s just a little less bad, because the flight there is becoming much cheaper. Yaaa, how nice is that? And we owe it all to the American airline JetBlue; they will start offering flights from Schiphol to New York from August. I flew to America once with a budget airline and that was not really a recommendation. You had to pay extra for all the food and you didn’t have your own screen. Those hours in the air can feel quite long. But good news: that is not the case with JetBlue.
All food and drinks (yes, even the alcoholic beverages) are included and every seat has its own TV screen. And that for an amount of 390 euros, as the return tickets start from that price. So if you are waiting for a sign to finally head to New York: this is it. This is your sign. And book away.
By the way, keep an eye on Amayzine, because of course I will be sharing my very best tips in the coming time and there are quite a few. If you want to take it easy with your money after this great deal in New York, read these tips. New York on a budget is definitely possible.
