Where last year the Prada Cleo, Loewe Puzzle, the Triomphe Bag from Celine and of course Balenciaga’s La Cagole were dubbed the it-bags of the moment for some extra Y2K vibes, it is now really time for a few new designer bag dreams as we head from autumn into winter.

Because you understand: a new season is the ultimate excuse to spend, or well... At least to start saving again. Here’s a list of the three it-bags that all fashion victims are currently eyeing. Do you have a favorite yet?

1. Horsebit Chain bag from Gucci
For the true Gucci connoisseur, it is the new interpretation of one of Gucci’s most successful it-bags ever, with Tom Ford still at the helm of the Italian fashion house back then. The Horsebit Chain bag is recognizable by its elongated shape, quilted look, and of course the XL-sized Horsebit detail. It is available in the trend colors of the moment: red and metallic silver, in Gucci’s canvas print, in a neon teddy variant, and of course also in the most beautiful basic colors like black, white, gray, and powder pink. A case of wanting to save for it (starting at €2,300, going up to about (good afternoon!) €29,000 in croc look).

2. Prada Arqué
It’s the semi-circular shapes that are becoming even more popular as we head into winter than they already were. A big favorite among the fashion-savvy crowd is Prada’s latest creation: the Arqué. The bag is part of the autumn collection of 2023 and is available for no less than €1,900. Emma Watson, Sofia Richie Grainge, and Gigi Hadid are already on team Arqué. And, it’s already on our wishlist too. What about you?

3. Saint Laurent Icare Maxi-Shopper
A bag that we have seen quite often on the arm of stylish A-listers lately is a shopper from Saint Laurent in XXL size. For now, this bag is not going anywhere because this autumn and winter it is still one of the most sought-after designer bags of the moment. Big fans of the Saint Laurent Icare bag, which is sold for €3,900, include Angelina Jolie, Miley Cyrus, Hailey Bieber, Laura Harrier, Zoe Kravitz, Bella Hadid, and Sydney Sweeney. It is made of quilted lamb leather and has a gigantic golden YSL logo on the front.
