Is cokeagne the drink of the moment?

No, this is not some vague drug cocktail, in case you were worried about that. Quite the opposite; it is Tom Hanks' favorite drink, or the darling of the internet. And actually, I shouldn't call it a cocktail, because it consists of just two ingredients.
And those two ingredients are cola and champagne. Yaaa, hence the ‘coke’: nice in an American way.

Tom Hanks claims to not be a big drinker, so that's why he mixes cola with his champagne. But he also watches the calories, because he always uses diet cola for this. Personally, I find both cola and diet cola extremely disgusting in a mixed drink (bacardi and cola are not for me), so this doesn't seem like a very tasty combo. But hey, if an A-lister like Tom Hanks says it, many will of course follow.
Co-actor Elizabeth Banks tried it and… Surprisingly enough, she was incredibly enthusiastic. Will this be the new hit in drinks?
