An ode to toilet friendships

True story: I thought the song ‘all the girls standing in the line for the bathroom’ by N*E*R*D was about how women always take so long for a bathroom visit because we always end up chatting with everyone and everything, which creates a long line. The fact that it was about cocaine use didn't even make my top three options.
Because women in bathrooms at clubs, parties, or festivals are a different breed and I love it. If you often go to parties and you haven't snagged a BFFAN (Best Friend For A Night), you're really doing something wrong. And you're missing out, because these are always such fun girlfriends. Super supportive too. Got heartbreak? You can bet your bottom dollar that the (still unknown to you) women in the bathroom will support you through thick and thin and will HATE the person who caused you this pain.
Women supporting women is what the bathroom in clubs is all about, especially after midnight when the vast majority is no longer sober. But even if we're completely smashed, we pay close attention to our fellow women. Are you okay? Do you need some water? Do you need to throw up? I'll hold your hair.
But even if you're feeling a bit insecure, you can count on getting an ego boost from your new BFFs in the bathroom. It's always raining with loving comments like: ‘wow, your makeup looks really beautiful’, ‘I really want your hair’ or the general ‘you are such a beautiful person’.
To emphasize once again that drunk women in bathrooms are the absolute best kind, I have gathered some hilarious and relatable tweets for you. May we, the drunk girls in bathrooms, never change.
