Expedition Robinson 2023 in a nutshell: the season in which Camp North has not managed to win a challenge even once. The immunity totem is, as far as they are concerned, one big hoax. Well, they do know it exists because they have seen the other team take it to their camp five times in a row. Who's up for a bet this season: will they win again? I bet a hundred euros that unfortunately that is not the case. This episode did not give much hope again and yes, of course, we will discuss that again.

1. Still, I have the feeling that we as viewers are owed some footage that explains why Maxime really doesn't have it for Eva. She can drink her blood by now, but I absolutely cannot remember why. Maybe she is just extremely in his allergy zone.

2. Aahh, Iris in tears because of Chelsey. As Eva herself said: extremely awkward to vote her out, because she turns out to be very likable with... Yes, with everyone actually. Actually, it's the exact opposite with Eva, unfortunately.

3. ‘I have to say, I genuinely feel for Camp North, that we are sending them back to the Island Council,’ is proclaimed from Camp South. It is of course meant kindly, but meine gute: that team has literally not managed to win even once, in any formation.

4. I can already see them sitting there in the editorial office, with their hands in their hair: WHAT can we do so that Camp North manages to achieve something?! That they don't all quit at once, because yes, we understand that too. Just let me go home if it's going to be like this.

5. But to be fair, Maxime is very loyal to his aversion to Eva. Immunity coin or not, she gets his vote. Just to make it clear that they will never become besties, should she forget that.

6. Meanwhile, Irene continuously escapes the dance on Loser Island, which I find incredibly sweet, but seriously, that's just really not handy, right? Or do Roosmarijn and Chelsey secretly just want to go home?

7. I felt so sorry for Eva, Miss always-picked-last-in-gym, but she is making it difficult for me this episode. ‘Yeah Jaimie, you would like to know how I got that coin, huh?’ Why so mysterious? And why do you praise Loser Island to the heavens when you want to do everything to avoid going back there?

8. ‘I didn't actually want to leave,’ said no one ever about Loser Island. Except for Eva then. Well girl, what's stopping you? You can just voluntarily sacrifice yourself, right? And then don't secretly start betting coins, because that's not fair.

9. Meine gute, I would have found this challenge pure hell at my fittest, let alone on a scorching hot uninhabited island where nothing to eat can be found. What sadists, huh, those creators?

10. Eva has no tricks left up her sleeve. And they can put a sad tune under it, but that's totally unnecessary: Eva is just going to her happy place anyway. Right?

11. And even though they have lost again (so far nothing new of course), it is definitely Grande Fiesta at Camp North, because Maxime is hanging up the decorations with this departure.
