Expedition Robinson: Final Talk
Boys, we made it. The very last episode. The finale. Last week I asked in a poll who you thought would be the winner, and the majority voted for Willem. My vote goes to Guido. But hey, nice cliché but true: they are all winners, of course. I think surviving four days camping at Lowlands is already tough, but what they have done for almost two months is really intense.
For the last time then: let’s gooohooo.
1. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I always find the part that is set up like a talk show in the finale so dull. Just do that after we know who has won as a follow-up chat. I'm too impatient for this.
2. Those final challenges always look so cool. What a monsters, I must say. I would arrive with shaking knees if I saw all that. And can you imagine how long the explanation of this obstacle course will be? Meine gute.
3. And then you make a mistake in that challenge in the FINALE. Then you are really not a happy panda, I think. If all previous challenges go well for you, everyone thinks you are going to win (if I look at the poll results from the previous episode: 51 percent thinks he will win)… And then it all goes wrong at the end.
4. But I think it’s Guido. Just take a good look at that sly smile that doesn’t leave his face during the talk show part. That’s the grin of a winner, I’m sure of it.
5. Wow, but if Guido just takes this third target, he will be the biggest winner ever, right? The other two aren’t even close to where he is.
6. Oooké, that’s not going to happen anymore, but if he gives away this lead, I will really not be happy. No matter what happens, for me, Guido is just Robinsonner 2023. No discussion possible.
7. No wait, there’s something that makes me even angrier. Can we please stop switching back to that talk show table? We just want to see Expeditie, thank you.
8. Creators, creators, creators… You are making me completely unrelaxed with your editing. Can the balls fly any slower? The tension is already palpable without it, you know.
9. Willem is Robinson 2023. This is a bit bittersweet, I must say. I feel like Guido spent about three hours on that last plate, without success. Okay, I’ll call it a shared first place and that’s my final judgment.
10. By the way, I can’t explain it, but I think that blonde look of Nicolette is maybe the hardest to get used to from this whole episode. All participants washed and with makeup? Fine. Guido with a new look? Fine. Nicolette with side bangs and platinum blonde? Error.
11. That was it then, Expeditie Robinson 2023. But don’t be sad: they will be back next year and today B&B Vol Liefde has also started again, so I think we will all manage just fine, right?
