Expedition Robinson: Aftertalk episode 11

Just realize: yesterday was episode 11 already and that means we've watched over eleven hours of Expeditie Robinson this season. That's almost a day and a half of work. Do you think it's weird that we're so invested? Especially now that it has been pouring non-stop for the past few days and we also had to deal with a storm that got the surprising name Carián. Just a side note: how fun is it if your job is to name these storms? I think it would be hilarious if we get storm Diederik-Jan next and then storm Egbert. Alright, those are thoughts for later, first we need to talk about what happened last night.

1. Ah, that poor Krista too, I don't see it going well for her this season. With literally everything she says, you can almost see everyone's eyes rolling to the back of their heads.

2. And then also swiping the spider webs at memory because of a careless mistake by Guido... The rest will be happy about that too.

3. Maybe Mark should just sleep four hours a night more often. HAHA. This man is unstoppable. Suddenly you have it: you become a professional memory player. The Speedrun version of course.

4. Participants in Expeditie Robinson: ‘It's just a game, it's not personal at all...’
Jochen: ‘I take the people to Winner Island that I like the most and find the most fun.’

5. Last week Jaimie, now Maxim... My favorites this season are falling like flies. Iris, now you have to do it. For the win and nothing less.

6. But also: I want to see a bit more of Radmilo, because I think he's such a fun guy, we see way too little of him. More screen time for Radmilo please.

7. And if I were Krista, I would invest less in making alliances and plotting and more in just talking people through homesickness all day long. I guess she has the best chance of going far if people keep voluntarily stepping down.

8. It's a black day in this season of Expeditie Robinson: Maxim goes home, and he's much happier about it than I am. Shall we stop with people who really want to go home now? I think it's been enough.

9. Next week we already know after half an hour who is going home, because if Krista doesn't win the challenge, she's the one. Also nice that we quickly know where we stand.

10. It's also great that Iris hasn't worried for a second about her voting rights. She knew it would be fine and that she really didn't have to go home.

11. Just something else: I found this episode a bit boring. More excitement, tension, and sensation next week? Yes, please.
