Flying to New York and Boston is now even cheaper

New York

Yeah, this is great news. This year I went to New York for a small week in April with my father and I had already thought: I'm going to do this more often. I think it's such an amazing city and every time I've been there, I fantasize about wanting to live there. The biggest obstacle is of course that I probably will never be able to afford that in this life, because to be honest, those five days were already pretty expensive... Let alone building a life there. And those costs started even before we arrived, because the ticket prices are not cheap either.

I have now found a solution for that, because the airline JetBlue has been flying to New York since the end of August — and that is really a big financial bonus for us. For example, if I look at a week in NYC in March, it costs me less than 500 dollars, which is currently almost 470 euros. Sorry, but for New York, that's really a bargain. You can choose from different types of tickets (checking in a bag for the outbound and return trip comes down to less than 600 euros, which I also think is a decent price), so there is a good option for every budget. Of course, it also completely depends on when you want to fly; my plan was from Friday to Sunday and those are of course popular days.

New York is of course amazing, but since yesterday JetBlue also flies with non-stop flights to Boston. I was there once when I was twelve, but I really want to go back because I have such great memories of it. There's a good chance you think of The Big Apple first, but seriously: Boston is so much fun. There are tons of great restaurants, it's a real student city, but it's also great if you're no longer a student (although it's of course nice to check out Harvard). Getting out of the city to see Cape Cod is also highly recommended. And it's a lot cheaper to fly too: a round-trip ticket is already 420 euros. Sorry, but then you're almost a thief of your own wallet if you don't do it.
