Future journaling helps you make all your dreams come true

Future Journaling

Have you already started on your list of good intentions or maybe you don't even want to start this year because you know you'll have thrown them out the window by mid-January? Still, it's not impossible to manifest your dream life. All you need is a pen, a journal, and your dearest wishes. This phenomenon is called future journaling and it will help you make all your dreams come true. How do you do that? Simple, just follow these four steps.

1. Visualize your desires
Be very specific. For example, if you want to manifest a new job, what does your office look like? What do you do on a daily basis? What time do you wake up, what do you wear, and how is your relationship with your colleagues? Think about it so hard that you can almost feel it. The more specific, the better.

2. Choose a date in the future
This can be in three, six, or twelve months. Write the date of your chosen day at the top of your journal, for example: June 1, 2024.

3. Write your goals as if they are already true in the present tense
For example: ‘Today I landed my dream job!’ That might feel a bit strange, but this is the key that will unlock the treasure chest of your wishes and dreams. It evokes a feeling of achievement, which will stimulate your conscious and unconscious behavior.

4. Get to work
On the following pages, from today until your future journal date (in this case, June 1, 2024), you need to write an action plan to achieve your specific goals. Let's stick with your new job for convenience. What are you going to do to land that job? Which job postings are you going to respond to? Do you have someone in your network you can reach out to, and so on...

You will see that it becomes easier and easier to pull in the things you want to achieve as you practice this and get better at it. You can use future journaling for everything, whether it's big or small dreams. As long as you write it down and take appropriate action, no one can stop you.
