This iPhone hack will change your life

By

One very expensive hobby of mine is that I fall in love with all new gadgets, especially those from Apple. In that regard, I’m really a magpie: everything that comes new to the market from Apple is shiny to me and I just have to have it. So yes, that new iPhone 15 Pro has already been glued to my hands for a while and I’m so happy with it. But one of the most fun things is discovering new iPhone features that I didn’t know about yet.

This one was new to me, but now I find it so handy — and it works on all iPhones with an up-to-date iOS operating system. Here it comes: you can perform a certain action by double-tapping on the back of your phone. For example, I’ve set it up so that when I double-tap on the back, a screenshot is taken of my screen, and I find that so much nicer than pressing the volume, power, and home buttons at the same time.

But you can set more things, like activating your camera, or Siri, or locking your screen… You can also choose a different action for when you tap three times on the back instead of two.

Here’s how to do it: Settings, Accessibility, Touch, and then at the very bottom, ‘Tap Back’: there you can set everything. Really one of the handiest iPhone hacks I’ve discovered this year. You’re welcome.
