Why you shouldn't skip the Haciënda at Lowlands this year

The countdown has not only begun, it is almost over: Lowlands is kicking off today. So much looking forward to it, although I — just like many others — will head that way tomorrow. Thursday is always a lot of fun and again I plan to ‘take it easy’ for now, knowing that I will once again fail at this. But well, exhaustion simply does not exist at Lowlands, because there are too many fun things to do and see all weekend.

In the past, I used to make a schedule with the entire block schedule, but in recent years I see what the day brings. And often it comes down to spending many hours dancing in the Haciënda. Mojito in hand, always great music; you can't get me happier, you know. And also add the insane weather forecast to that, then it can't go wrong at all.

By now, it has also become a regular thing in our Lowlands group: is there nothing to do? Hoppa, off to the Haciënda. In the evening, do we want to go to a tent that we all like? Yes, heading to the Haciënda. Pitcher Mojito included and you're all set.

But there is good news: this year the Haciënda has been renewed and is even bigger. LOVE IT. It is now larger than the Paradiso, which I find truly unbelievable. A few years ago it was still a fairly small tent, but it has quickly grown into a permanent and large part of Lowlands.

And there is even more good news. BACARDÍ has just announced the coolest collaboration of the year, with one of my favorite brands. Yep, BACARDÍ x Filling Pieces is a fact and we are exclusively involved. Both brands have a passion for music and streetwear, and want to bring people together with their collab. And what better place to celebrate than Lowlands? The big kick-off will also take place in the Haciënda, and there will be a lot of fun happening around this collaboration with ADE. So stay tuned... Can't wait? I get it, luckily we will take you through our Instagram the whole weekend at Lowlands, so also to this kick-off.

Curious how the Haciënda looks now? Below you will get a complete tour of the Lowlands site.
