This hilarious scene from Titanic has never caught your eye

I probably am not the only one in this, but since the whole implosion of the Titan I have a renewed fascination for the Titanic. I must say that the fascination for Leonardo DiCaprio was born in 1997 (when Titanic was released) and has never stopped since, but in recent years I hardly watch the movie anymore. There are two main reasons for that: it just takes forever and I still always cry, and then in the category of ugly crying to the max. And I just don't always feel like that.

But I came across a TikTok on my For You page and now I have to watch it again, if only for this scene. This has never occurred to me before and seeing it like this, I honestly don't understand why — how did I not see this?!

It is honestly hilarious and that's why I understand that the TikTok has now been viewed fifteen million times. TikToker Jess was rewatching Titanic and suddenly saw in a scene that the passengers looked very special... As in: they could have just come out of The Sims 2: The Good Life. Cora and Christiaan van de Kerkhof were apparently also present on the Titanic.

HAHA. Doesn't this look so fake? Jess's laugh really completes it, but I wonder so many things after seeing this scene. Sure, in 1997 it was a different time and the technology wasn't as advanced as it is now, but come on. The movie had a budget of 200 million dollars, at the time the most expensive movie ever made, and they skimped on this? Titanic will never be the same again.
