If you see this, you'll never want to vape again

It is a hype that has completely passed me by: vaping. Maybe because I am a millennial and this is especially popular among Gen Z? Although that is probably a bit too generalizing, because I see plenty of people my age hanging on to such a plastic vape non-stop. I must honestly say that I still think it smells quite nice but I absolutely do not believe all the stories that ‘it would be better than smoking’. And if you have seen this, I think you feel the same way.

YouTuber Ryan Horace has made a video about producing vapes, and viewers are completely in shock — and very nauseous.

This video is specifically about Elf Bar, which are also sold in the Netherlands. In England, these vapes have already come under fire this year, after it was revealed that they contain 50 (!) percent more nicotine than the legally allowed amount. But that is not even what viewers are most shocked about.

The video shows how the entire vape is put together, from the contents to the colorful casing and of course the mouthpiece you suck on. And that last part is what people are upset about: those mouthpieces are put on without gloves. Damn it.

So realize that if you buy a new vape, it is very possible that there are fingerprints on it from someone you first of all do not know, who secondly has been sitting in such a dirty factory handling all sorts of stuff for hours and then touching your vape, and thirdly you do not know when this person last washed their hands. Yuck, yuck, YUCK.

So think about that before you buy another new vape…

I still want to share a video I came across on TikTok. Of course, these are the most bizarre horror stories, but still: I feel like people often think that vaping is a ‘healthier’ alternative to smoking, which I personally find a pretty dangerous mindset. And I hope you do too, after seeing this TikTok.
