Ibiza tip: Casa Maca

It already feels like a long time ago, but this year I escaped the country on my birthday. I put on the Vengaboys with We’re going to Ibiza and followed their message: four days it is in Ibiza. The last time I was on this island was before corona, so it was necessary to update my list of hotspots and best hotels. And I can tell you: I succeeded. For four days, I only enjoyed good food, drinks, and sleep — and I have a great tip for you in all those categories.
I slept for two nights in Casa Maca, a beautiful boutique hotel on the outskirts of Ibiza town. By car or taxi, you can reach Dalt Vila in ten minutes, but you still experience complete tranquility here, away from the crowds. Casa Maca is located on a hill, so you have an incredibly beautiful view over Dalt Vila, the harbor, and the sea — truly magical, especially at sunset it is so beautiful here. This view will never get boring, but unfortunately, we only slept here for two nights.
Aside from sleeping here, you want (better said: you must) to eat here as well. The restaurant also has this view, there’s often a DJ playing, the service is quick and incredibly friendly, and I only heard good stories about the food. We only had a drink there (we had reserved everything in advance), but the meat corner where the Iberico ham was being sliced right in front of you made sure that I absolutely want to eat here at some point.

So if you’re going to Ibiza soon and still looking for a hotel: this is a genuine recommendation. If you already have a hotel, definitely check out this restaurant, you won’t regret it.
This hotel and restaurant in Ibiza is an absolute must-visit.
