Mattel now sells the official ‘I am Kenough’ sweater

I don't think there's seriously anyone in the whole of the Netherlands who found the Barbie movie disappointing or bad, and that doesn't happen often with a film. As far as I'm concerned, that's completely justified: what an insane experience this was. And I still hope that, partly ‘thanks to’ the writers' strike that is still ongoing in America, there will be Oscar nominations for Barbie. It would be amazing if Ryan Gosling snags a nomination for his role as Ken, right? Because as fun as Margot Robbie is as Barbie (I can't picture any other actress in that role), Ryan really shone as Ken.

And that Ken would become at least as big a hype as Barbie was probably not something we expected. Yet that is exactly what has happened, and that's why there is now a big rush for the sweater with the text ‘I am Kenough’, which is worn by Ken in the movie. On Etsy, there are already several sellers offering the sweater, but now Mattel has included the official sweater in their shop. That's the best part: walking around in exactly the same sweater as the real Ken.

You can pre-order the unisex hoodie via this link and it will be shipped to you on October 10. I'm definitely going to get it, because I want to lounge in it, and it's also made of teddy fabric, so yes: this is going to be my new favorite sweater. And for 60 dollars, that's not too bad, right?
