See: Jennifer Lopez plays a hitman in new Netflix movie

J.Lo as a hitman, that's probably not a role you quickly envision for her. However, it does make me quite excited for her new film The Mother, which will be available on Netflix on May 12. It was about time, by the way; the film was actually supposed to come out last year, but that whole event ultimately didn't happen. Hopefully, this wait will be somewhat rewarded, but judging by the trailer, it seems like it will turn out well.

As the title suggests, she is not just a hitman, she is also a mother. And a former FBI agent, but due to a failed operation, she is now in danger, and so is her child. She wants to do everything to protect her child and she goes very far in that. She wants to take down the bad guys who survived this failed operation, because they are still after her, but that doesn't exactly go smoothly.

Seriously, that trailer looks really cool to me. Personally, I don't see Jennifer Lopez as the best actress, but that is more than compensated here with a huge amount of action and spectacle. Yes, this is definitely a must-see.
