Even about Kate Middleton in The Crown
You would want to be this actress

We are all eagerly waiting for Netflix to serve up a new season of The Crown. The more recent, the more interesting, because Netflix has now reached various situations that we (at least I) can still remember very well from real life. In season 6, Kate Middleton comes to the forefront, and just like with Diana, there was a lot of pressure on casting this role.

Surprising choice
Meg Bellamy, that’s the name of the actress who soon won’t be able to walk down the street normally, is completely unknown. Okay, she studied drama in school and was very good at it, but she has zero experience in TV or film. What we know is that she has 7000 followers on Instagram (that number will quickly increase, and we can certainly bet our pennies on that), she worked at Legoland in Windsor (also as a performer), and she was head girl at St Crispin’s School in Wokingham. She wasn’t scouted on the street but sent in an audition tape herself. So, a blank slate, something that the makers of The Crown 6 will undoubtedly know how to handle.

Interestingly, the William shown in this series is also a completely inexperienced actor. In fact, two Williams will be used in the series. The 16-year-old Rufus Kampa plays the young William, and Ed McVey plays the William who falls in love with Kate. Both are again inexperienced actors who found their way to fame through a casting agency. So, do you look a lot like Meghan and an older Harry? Keep an eye on the website casting.com, because it could very well be that you, even as an inexperienced actor, get this chance.
