Whoa. Stop. The. Presses. Count to ten, breathe, meditate, try to stay calm. But if this is true… Is One Direction really getting back together? Fans have been hoping for this since December 31, 2015, when the band (already without Zayn, of course) last performed together. That’s over seven long years without any sign of hope for a reunion. Until now.

Admittedly: this news comes from the band itself, but from the most unreliable member there is: Liam Payne. He’s been a bit medium lately, with his interview on Logan Paul’s podcast as the ultimate low point. He mentioned there, for example, that the whole of One Direction was actually built around him, that he was the main character, and generally gave off a bit of a strange energy. Additionally, he spoke quite negatively about his other band members.

In the meantime, he has apologized for that and they seem to be on speaking terms again, if we are to believe Liam at least. He was asked, ‘when will we finally see One Direction back together?’ and gave a surprising answer.

‘I don’t know, but we just started a new group chat, so…’ Okay, OKEEEE. Also, pay attention to the significant look towards the camera afterwards; he is hinting one hundred percent at a reunion. Let’s manifest this together. We deserve this, after over seven long years of waiting.
