Lizzo is being sued by her dancers

Wow: artist Lizzo has received serious allegations from her former dancers, who are now even suing her. Lizzo is said to have created a hostile work environment, she allegedly sexually harassed them and ridiculed them for their weight. Where all this supposedly happened? You won't guess: Amsterdam.

Yesterday the lawsuit was filed and this news was quickly made public; when Lizzo had her concert in Amsterdam, she went out into the city with her dancers. And as I read the allegations, I strongly suspect they went to the infamous Bananenbar. If you don't know this: it's a bar in the center of Amsterdam, where (almost) naked women perform sexually suggestive tricks with bananas.

Lizzo allegedly forced her dancers to eat these bananas from the performers‘ vaginas and had them catch dildos that they ’launched' from their vaginas. Lizzo's dancers reportedly felt absolutely uncomfortable with this, and that is also one of the main reasons for this lawsuit.

She is also said to have ridiculed one of her dancers for their weight and later fired that person for it. Quite remarkable, as Lizzo stands for body positivity. The lawyer for her dancers says the following about it: ‘How Lizzo treats her dancers is completely contrary to what she publicly stands for; privately, she weight-shames her dancers and humiliates them in a way that is not only illegal but also demoralizing.’
